Family Engagement

We are delighted to have a strong cadre of parent volunteers working within our district in a variety of ways, ranging from helping to plan for future years to working directly alongside children in the classroom. Every bit of parental involvement is valuable to the district and we greatly appreciate the opportunity to partner.

Formal opportunities include the District Advisory Council (DAC) and the District English Learner Advisory Council (DELAC) at the district level, and numerous options for involvement at each school site, ranging from serving as a member of the school site council to participating in the school's parent-teacher group, providing financial support, volunteering on campus, and driving on field trips.

All volunteers need to fill out an online application and create an account via an application called Better Impact. This is the link for the online process:  registration form
